CHARLES YASSKY

MANAGING PRINCIPAL

Charlie has been an owner, developer and manager of multi-family buildings and retail condominiums in the New York Metro area, as well as suburban shopping centers, since 1981. Amongst a myriad of developments, Mr. Yassky was managing partner of 44 Laight Street in Tribeca where he presided over the development and sale of over $75,000,000 of luxury condominiums. In addition to his New York City multi-family portfolio, Mr. Yassky has interests in shopping centers around the country ranging from a 50,000 SF strip center to a 1,300,000 SF enclosed mall. In 2009, he and his brother Marc formed Millbrook Realty Capital where Charlie takes the lead in structuring all of its transactions. Educated at New York University, Charlie is involved in over 25 charitable organizations and is a director of the Michael Wolk Heart Foundation at New York's Weill Cornell Medical Center.

MARC YASSKY

MANAGING PRINCIPAL

Marc has been engaged in real estate since 1977 when he joined Shopco, a nationwide developer of enclosed malls. He ultimately became president of the company, which until 2006, developed or acquired over 14MM SF of shopping centers. After divesting itself of the portfolio, Marc joined his brother Charlie at Yassky Properties, and has been involved in its activities since that time. Marc oversees the due diligence, closing, and administration of each of Millbrook Realty Capital's transactions. Marc attended Brandeis University and New York University (from which he graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance), and has served on the boards of or committees at Temple Sholom, Greenwich, CT, American Friends of the Rambam Medical Center, Haifa, Israel, and Congregation B’nai Jeshurun in Manhattan).

JIM GAVIN

SENIOR COMMERCIAL LOAN ORIGINATOR

Jim Gavin is a seasoned commercial real estate finance professional with over 20 years of experience and more than $1 billion in closed transactions. Having worked with major institutions such as Chase and GE Capital, as well as regional and private lenders, he brings a deep understanding of deal structuring, underwriting, and execution across diverse asset classes. Known for his analytical insight, responsiveness, and client-first approach, Jim delivers tailored financing solutions that meet the unique needs of each borrower. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and an A.A.S. in Marketing from Westchester Community College.
